Welcome to India! Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore nearby markets or enjoy a leisurely walk around the city.
Delhi, India’s capital, is a fascinating blend of ancient traditions and modern development. The city has witnessed the rise and fall of numerous dynasties, leaving behind an extraordinary collection of monuments, bustling bazaars, and vibrant neighborhoods.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of Old and New Delhi.
Begin with Old Delhi, visiting the magnificent Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. Experience a traditional rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, famous for its vibrant markets, street food, and historic atmosphere. Drive past the iconic Red Fort.
Continue to New Delhi, where you’ll visit the towering Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive past the Presidential Residence, Parliament House, and visit India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers. If time permits, also visit Humayun’s Tomb and the beautiful Lotus Temple.
After breakfast, drive to Agra via the modern Yamuna Expressway.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and proceed for sightseeing. Visit the imposing Agra Fort, a UNESCO-listed fortress that served as the principal residence of the Mughal emperors. Later, visit the elegant Itimad-ud-Daulah, often referred to as the “Baby Taj.”
In the evening, enjoy sunset views of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River or explore Agra’s local marble handicraft markets.
Early morning visit to the breathtaking Taj Mahal, the eternal symbol of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The soft morning light offers the best opportunity to appreciate the monument’s exquisite marble craftsmanship and symmetry.
After breakfast, drive towards Jaipur, stopping en route at the UNESCO-listed Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century, this remarkably preserved city showcases impressive Mughal architecture, grand courtyards, and the famous Buland Darwaza.
Continue onward to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s vibrant capital known as the Pink City.
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Jaipur.
Visit the majestic Amber Fort, dramatically situated atop a hill overlooking Maota Lake. Explore its magnificent courtyards, royal chambers, and the dazzling Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace).
Continue to the splendid City Palace, still partially occupied by the royal family. Visit the nearby Jantar Mantar, the world’s largest stone astronomical observatory and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Stop for photographs at the iconic Hawa Mahal, the “Palace of Winds,” with its intricate pink sandstone façade. Later, enjoy browsing Jaipur’s famous bazaars, renowned for textiles, gemstones, handicrafts, and traditional Rajasthani art.
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
